Bakti Desa

Bakti Desa is one of the most eagerly awaited event by 3 Senior High School students. This event held by school for 11th grade students of 3 Senior High School. I've heard a lot of things about this program and I was very excited! This event held for 3 days and 2 nights at Cibeureum village Jawa Barat, far far away from the town, near the mountain and there are so many tress which make it very freezing. We were divided into several groups from each class consisting of 4 people. Each group had to make a report like one of the problems in Cibeureum village. My group are Yaca, Violet and Zahra. We will stay in our foster parents house.

We need to bring our stuff from home because our foster parents didnt provide our needs except food and water. We also carry items and materials that will be distributed to residents, 5 packls of noodles, 2 pieces of free clothes, 2 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kg of sugar, 1 pack of small malkist roma cake and used Elementary/ Junior High/ Senior High school textbooks .

Our foster parents had a super mini market and you could call it warung. She sells noodle, eggs, seblak (this is very good), candy, uh all of the basic stuff you could see in warung. Our foster parents house is pretty homey and she is very kind. We help her by promoting her mini market or warung and yes, the mini market became a base camp of my classroom. We often gather there in our spare time.

We left school on Thursday, 3rd January at 6 am  and we left Cibeureum Village on Saturday, 5th January at 3 am. This program will be my unforgettable experience.
